SEASONS OF THE HEARTH
 "And through the wood we go..."

 
          The end of November brings the beginning of "the most wonderful time of the year", but the whole month of November is a most colorful time of year.  The trees and ground are both half covered with the yellows, oranges, and browns of original M&M's.  Cemetaries are graced with colorful bouquets- standing out beautifully against the muted back drop of the season- to remember those who have sacrificed in service of our red, white, and blue Old Glory.  I, and those who are like minded, finally get to put on the blaze orange vest and hat and go searching for a whitetail deer

Spring is here, that means things are looking new.  Here at the Kuma factory we have experienced one of the snowiest winters on record so we are ready for a change.  Speaking of changes, here is what is new for the 2008/2009 Kuma stove line.

1. New website- you may have noticed an updated look to our site.  What we are especially excited about is our new zip code driven dealer locater.  The Kuma dealer family is growing and we are happy to see our woodstoves, oil stoves, and bio-diesel stoves in more places all across North America.  We are continually adding new dealers that are just a 5 digit zip code away.

A wood stove is a wonderful addition to any home. Be it a sleek looking pedestal model in the family room of a brand new custom home in a sprawling suburban development, an old fashioned looking yet highly efficient wood stove with legs in a rustic mountain cabin or a fireplace insert set into the fireplace of a 1976 rancher in Anytown, U.S.A. there's just something special that a wood stove brings to the home. The "warm you to the core" radiant heat, crackling song of a fresh log thrown on hot coals, mesmerizing flame dancing around inviting all who pass by to just sit a relax awhile- not to mention independence gained from power outages and money saved on the heating budget- all these things draw us to the hearth.
